Know the Score is a project of the Vancouver Recital Society, which has been presenting classical music recitals in Vancouver, Canada for over 40 years. Classical music is our passion, but we know that it’s not always easy to connect with. That’s why we wanted to create a space where everyone, young or old, novice or aficionado, musician or audience member, can find something that moves or intrigues them. This is a place for the musically curious.

Music is a living, breathing thing that changes year to year, moment to moment, note to note. We aim to help you explore these changes, to make connections between music history and the modern world, and to indulge your curiosity.
