Podcasts

Last fall, VRS resident musicologist Donald Gislason recorded a series of pre-concert talk podcasts for performances on our 2021-22 Season. These informative talks dive deep into performances given by pianists Tony Siqi Yun and Behzod Abduraimov, and violinist Augustin Hadelich. Even though the performances are over, there is still plenty to learn about these artists and their musical programs!

In this video, the New Jersey Symphony presents composer Benjamin Britten's piece The Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra. It was designed for kids to learn about the instruments in the orchestra, but it's great for adults who want to learn more about the different orchestra sections too!
