Mao Fujita is a 24-year-old Japanese pianist. He began piano lessons at the age of three and attended the Tokyo College of Music. Mao came to the international music community’s attention when he won First Prize and the Audience Prize at the Clara Haskil International Piano Competition in Switzerland at just 17 years old. Since then, he has performed at festivals and with orchestras all over the world. In 2021, Mao signed an exclusive multi-album deal with the recording label Sony Classical International.
